Basketball Recap: Hawkinsville Red Devils vs. Bleckley County Royals
Hawkinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 46-32 bruising from the Bleckley County Royals. The game was a 11-11 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Devils couldn't quite close it out.
Despite the loss, Hawkinsville still got an impressive performance from Alicia Newman, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Newman is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
