Volleyball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Sikeston on Thursday, Saxony Lutheran came back down to earth. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopold Wildcats on Friday. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13.

Saxony Lutheran's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Leopold, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Saxony Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Sikeston on the 12th. As for Leopold, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Central on the 12th.
