Softball Recap: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Walhalla Razorbacks
Pendleton's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Walhalla Razorbacks a 10-0 shutout. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Razorbacks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Blakely Branyon made a splash no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.
In other batting news, Ella Bryant was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. CJ Baker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Pendleton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Walhalla struck out seven times.
Pendleton's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Walhalla, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Looking ahead, Pendleton is taking a road trip to face off against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
