Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Karnes City). Everything went their way against the Stockdale Brahmas on Thursday as they made off with a 17-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Karnes City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Stockdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Karnes City will face off against rival Poth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stockdale is set to take on their familiar foe Luling at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
