Baseball Recap: Aurora Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Aurora had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Holdrege Dusters, falling 12-2.

Aurora saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Spiehs, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aurora will face off against rival Centennial on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Holdrege is set to take on their familiar foe York at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
