Basketball Recap: Surrey Takes a Loss

Surrey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks, falling 95-42. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 53 points.

Surrey's record is now 6-12. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Coming up, Surrey will host Kenmare/Bowbells at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Kenmare/Bowbells knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Surrey likes a good challenge. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
