Softball Recap: Albertville Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Albertville and Huntsville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Albertville Aggies came up short against the Huntsville Panthers on Thursday, falling 14-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in February.

Albertville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katy Grace Willoughby, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Albertville's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Huntsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Albertville will take on Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in a tournament on Monday. As for Huntsville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Huntsville Panthers challenge Grissom Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
