Volleyball Recap: Pendleton Heights Takes a Loss

Pendleton Heights lost against New Castle on September 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Arabians fell 3-1 to the Trojans. The Arabians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pendleton Heights started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Pendleton Heights still got an impressive performance from Stella Short, who had 14 digs.

Pendleton Heights now has a losing record of 12-13. As for New Castle, with the victory, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-7.

Pendleton Heights has already played their next contest (against Madison-Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Castle, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against New Palestine on the 25th.
