Basketball Recap: Shamrock Find Success

While Shamrock has struggled on the road with four straight losses, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Jeff Rollerson. The Shamrock Irish enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over the Lefors Pirates thanks to Rollerson, who went 6-for-14 en route to 19 points along with seven boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The team also got some help courtesy of Rhpy Owens, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 17 points.

Shamrock's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Lefors, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Shamrock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-53 loss against Booker on the 17th. As for Lefors, they have also already played their next match, a 41-36 win against Hedley on the 11th.
