Volleyball Recap: Jackson Christian Takes a Loss

Jackson Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Science Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isa Dau led the charge by getting ten digs and three aces. What's more, Dau posted four assists, the most she's had over her last six matches.

This is the second loss in a row for Jackson Christian and nudges their season record down to 12-6. As for Science Hill, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.

Looking ahead, Jackson Christian will take on Baylor in a tournament on Saturday. As for Science Hill, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Farragut at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
