Basketball Recap: Glencoe Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lincoln on Tuesday, Glencoe came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets fell 51-41 to the Hokes Bluff Eagles on Friday. Yellowjackets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Friday.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Hokes Bluff, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12.

Glencoe has already played their next game (against Wellborn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hokes Bluff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 40-39 loss against New Hope on the 2nd.
