Hercules had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins by a score of 15-11. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-2 back in February.

Hercules saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tia Brown, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Brown wasn't the only one making solid contact: Hercules kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for the Titans: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 16.6.

Hercules' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.3 runs over those games. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hercules will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Justin-Siena at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they will face off against Swett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 13.4 runs per game this season.
