Football Recap: Atkinson County Rebels vs. Hilliard Red Flashes
Atkinson County extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 9-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hilliard Red Flashes 55-15. Considering the Rebels have won seven matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Atkinson County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darrian Roberts, who rushed for 242 yards and four scores on only 13 carries. Roberts has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ladarien Roberts, who rushed for 223 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Atkinson County didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Hilliard to a completion percentage of just 40%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Zy Williams, Garrett Burch, and Isaac Williams, who each logged one passes deflected.
