Basketball Recap: Washington Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington took on Lee's Summit on Wednesday. The Washington Wildcats took down the Lee's Summit Tigers 65-50.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elliott Berry Jr., who posted 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Boggess, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 12 points and five assists.

Washington's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Lee's Summit, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5.

Washington will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lee's Summit: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
