Basketball Recap: Wright City Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Wright City Lumberjax came up short against the Comanche Indians and fell 39-32. The Lumberjax have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Wright City lost, don't look at Mia Reich. Despite the final result, she posted ten points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kaelynn Wesley, who put up three points and 11 rebounds.

Wright City's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Comanche, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Wright City will welcome Haworth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wright City is facing Haworth at the right time seeing as Haworth is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Comanche, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Dibble at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
