Basketball Recap: Greater Vision Academy Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Greater Vision Academy Lions came up short against the Combine Academy Varsity Goats and fell 71-58.

When it comes to explaining why Greater Vision Academy lost, don't look at Amari King. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 10 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. King is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ramael Warren, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and eight assists.

Greater Vision Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Combine Academy Varsity, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Greater Vision Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-52 victory against Iron Academy on the 28th. As for Combine Academy Varsity, they will welcome Combine Academy Global at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Combine Academy Global is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
