Soccer Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, South Pointe was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 6-1 to the Dreher Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dreher this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 two weeks ago.

South Pointe's goal came courtesy of Annsley Howle, who's now up to ten this season.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Dreher, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

South Pointe will head out to challenge Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dreher, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Nation Ford at 7:00 p.m. Dreher are on a three-game streak of home wins, Nation Ford a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
