Volleyball Recap: Palisade's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Palisade had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rifle Bears. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Palisade was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7.

Palisade found their leader in freshman Bo Reimer, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Palisade was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 15 consecutive matchups.

The victory got Palisade back to even at 11-11. As for Rifle, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Palisade nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
