Volleyball Recap: DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals vs. Brockway Rovers
DuBois Central Catholic gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Brockway Rovers out 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
DuBois Central Catholic took Brockway into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-14, 21-25, 15-9.
The defeat snapped Brockway's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
DuBois Central Catholic will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Redbank Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 14th. Brockway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
