Eagle Pass won the last time they faced Laredo LBJ and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles took down the Wolves 24-7. The 24-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Xavier Barrera was his usual excellent self, rushing for 58 yards and one score, while also throwing for 130 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Eagle Pass now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Laredo LBJ, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Eagle Pass and Laredo LBJ will both be playing Alexander the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
