Softball Recap: Scott Wins Going Away Against Lloyd Memorial

Scott won the last time they faced Lloyd Memorial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Juggernauts 15-6.

Jamie Golden and Elise Manhardt did most of the damage at the plate: Golden went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs, while Manhardt went 3-for-6 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Golden has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Fraley, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Scott was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lloyd Memorial only posted a batting average of .240.

The victory got Scott back to even at 8-8-1. As for Lloyd Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott will face off against Mason County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lloyd Memorial, they will take on Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
