Basketball Game Preview: Los Gatos Wildcats vs. Los Altos Eagles

Los Gatos and Los Altos are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Los Gatos Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Los Altos Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Saturday, Los Gatos opened the new year with a less-than-successful 52-40 defeat to Milpitas. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Los Altos came up short against Wilcox on Saturday and fell 56-45. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 11 points.

Los Gatos' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Los Altos, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Los Gatos came up short against Los Altos when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 65-60. Can Los Gatos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
