Softball Recap: 20 Straight Home Wins for Gordonsville

Gordonsville waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Livingston Academy Wildcats a 3-0 shutout. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Kat Johnson was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Abby Brinkley was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Gordonsville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive games.
