Softball Recap: Rockwood Comes Up Short

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to the McMinn Central Chargers.

Rockwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McMinn Central, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Rockwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 23-3 defeat against Greenback on the 20th. As for McMinn Central, they will challenge Loudon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McMinn Central is facing Loudon at the right time seeing as Loudon is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
