Basketball Recap: Olney's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Olney won the last time they faced Electra and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Olney Cubs managed a 45-41 victory over the Electra Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Cubs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Olney's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Electra, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Windthorst the next time they take the court. Electra will head out to face Windthorst at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Olney will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on January 14th.
