Volleyball Recap: Seckman Jaguars vs. Festus Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Seckman duked it out with Festus on Monday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Seckman sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-27, 15-11.

Seckman's loss came despite strong showings from Vanessa Wason and Zoe Matus. Wason had ten digs and two aces, while Matus had 17 kills, seven digs, and two aces. Matus has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last nine times she's played.
