Basketball Recap: McGregor Comes Up Short

McGregor was the 57-49 winner over Whitney when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The McGregor Bulldogs had to suffer through a 69-39 loss at the hands of the Whitney Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Wildcats since December 11, 2018.

McGregor has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Whitney, their win bumped their record up to 11-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McGregor will face off against Harmony School of Innovation at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McGregor is facing Harmony School of Innovation at the right time seeing as Harmony School of Innovation is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Whitney, they will challenge Clifton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Clifton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
