Basketball Recap: Phillipsburg Comes Up Short

Phillipsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hunterdon Lions. If the Stateliners were looking for revenge after losing 49-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Phillipsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Hunterdon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Warren Hills Regional the next time they take the court. Phillipsburg will host Warren Hills Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, while North Hunterdon will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
