Basketball Recap: Menominee Nation Eagles vs. Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers
After flying high against Shiocton on Tuesday, Menominee Nation came back down to earth. The Eagles received a blow on Friday as they fell 68-53 to the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 63-45 to the Chargers when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Menominee Nation still got an impressive performance from Urijah Reevis, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 13 points along with six boards and four steals. Reevis is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Mylee Dixon was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rory Salvesen out in front who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Melaina Granquist, who earned 17 points.
Menominee Nation's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wittenberg-Birnamwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
