After losing to Santa Clara the last time they met, Palo Alto decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Palo Alto Vikings beat the Santa Clara Bruins by a goal, winning 2-1. Khrisar Magana had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Vikings.

Something new happened on Wednesday as Ramses Luna saw his first action of the season, playing 25 minutes against Santa Clara. Luna made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

The win made it two in a row for Palo Alto and bumps their season record up to 11-4. As for Santa Clara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Palo Alto will head out on the road to challenge Los Altos at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Altos will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Palo Alto surely won't give up without a fight. As for Santa Clara, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Santa Clara's offense will have their work cut out for them.
