Hunter Cole gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. Valley had no answer to Cole as he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Cole has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
