Soccer Recap: Edgewater Has No Trouble Against Lake Howell

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Edgewater walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Lake Howell Silverhawks on Wednesday as they made off with a 6-1 win. The Eagles' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

They hit Lake Howell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aiden Suguene (2), Noah Christiansen (2), Reid Neumann, and Ronan Cooney.

The victory got Edgewater back to even at 8-8-2. As for Lake Howell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-17.

Edgewater will face off against Oviedo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oviedo's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Lake Howell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
