            Football Recap: Castleberry Lions vs. Kennedale Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            After soaring to 36  points the game before, Castleberry was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Friday. They were beaten by the Kennedale Wildcats 55-7. The  game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Ethan Chappell threw for 69 yards and one  TD.   Jeremiah Sanchez was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards and one  score.  On the ground,  Isaiah Ford rushed for 100 yards.
  Riley Bingham continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kennedale, rushing for 173 yards and three  touchdowns on only five carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards. With that strong performance,  Bingham is now averaging an impressive 105.5  rushing yards per game. Another rusher making a difference was  Brian Cox, who rushed for 74 yards and one  TD on only ten carries.
This is the second loss in a row for Castleberry and  nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Kennedale,  the  win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Castleberry will  challenge  rival Ranchview  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kennedale is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Life Waxahachie  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
