It was a proper cat-fight when Kaufman challenged Terrell on Tuesday. The Kaufman Lions came out on top against the Terrell Tigers by a score of 3-1. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Tigers are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rylen Smith and Avery Higgins scored all three of Kaufman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Kaufman and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two contests. As for Terrell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kaufman will take on Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Kaufman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Terrell, they will face off against Midlothian Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
