Basketball Recap: Potlatch Has No Trouble Against Clearwater Valley + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Potlatch and Clearwater Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Loggers enjoyed a cozy 43-24 victory over the Rams on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-40 back in November.

Potlatch can attribute much of their success to Elena Vowels, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 16 points. Those 16 points gave Vowels a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Clearwater Valley still got an impressive performance from Tessa Lundgren, who posted seven points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Lundgren is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The win got Potlatch back to even at 4-4. As for Clearwater Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Potlatch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-38 victory against Logos on the 16th. As for Clearwater Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 38-36 defeat against Timberline on the 13th.
