Volleyball Recap: Columbus North Bull Dogs vs. Pendleton Heights Arabians
Columbus North lost against Pendleton Heights back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bull Dogs fell 2-0 to the Arabians. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bull Dogs were not able to get on the board.
Hannah Perry paced Columbus North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Perry got some help from Lexi Denny and her 18 assists. Perry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
This is the second loss in a row for Columbus North and nudges their season record down to 4-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-1 Franklin Central (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 83.3% over those games). As for Pendleton Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
Looking ahead, Columbus North will venture away from home to take on Trinity Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pendleton Heights, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Franklin Central on the 23rd.
