The Spruce Creek Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Spruce Creek will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Spruce Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Bartram Trail, taking the game 19-12. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Bears are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Flagler Palm Coast fell victim to Tocoi Creek and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Toros by a score of 2-0.

Spruce Creek pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Spruce Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Flagler Palm Coast in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 12-0. Will Spruce Creek repeat their success, or does Flagler Palm Coast have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
