Soccer Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northfield can now relate to. They came up short against the Blake Bears on Tuesday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Northfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Blake are ranked second).

Northfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-2-3. As for Blake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-1-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Northfield nor Blake have any future games scheduled.
