Basketball Recap: Durfee Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Durfee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 43-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Bedford Whalers. The contest marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Durfee's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5. As for New Bedford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Durfee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-31 loss against Portsmouth on the 20th. New Bedford has also already played their next contest, a 62-55 win against Greater New Bedford RVT on the 20th.
