Hartsville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Wilson on Wednesday. The Red Foxes were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Tigers. The Red Foxes haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Casey Hawkins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Wells Bannister was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Hartsville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .658. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilson only posted an OBP of .400.

Hartsville's record now sits at 11-3. As for Wilson, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Coming up, Hartsville will welcome Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Foxes are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Wilson, they will head out to face off against Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Diamond Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.91 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
