Soccer Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel entered their contest against Glenbrook North on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Corsairs lost 3-0 to the Spartans. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Carmel's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Glenbrook North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmel will host Saint Viator at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenbrook North, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Niles West at 7:00 p.m.
