Baseball Game Preview: Charlotte Trojans vs. Brackett Tigers

The Charlotte Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Brackett Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Charlotte has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Charlotte came up short against Three Rivers on Tuesday, falling 14-3. The Trojans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Josh Gaitan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Preston Castillo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Brackett lost 12-5 to Falls City on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brackett's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
