Plumas Charter entered their tilt with Dunsmuir on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 21-1 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Dalton Bentz made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. He has become a key player for Plumas Charter: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-7 otherwise.

In other batting news, Plumas Charter let Liam Carmichael and Cooper Clark run wild. Carmichael went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Clark went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave Carmichael a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Joseph, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Plumas Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.

Plumas Charter pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Plumas Charter beat the Tigers by a score of 16-0 later that day.
