It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jefferson Township can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Caldwell Tech Eagles on Monday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Jefferson Township was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

West Caldwell Tech can attribute much of their success to John Jimenez, who had 12 digs and six assists. Jimenez has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times he's played.

Jefferson Township's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for West Caldwell Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Jefferson Township nor West Caldwell Tech have any future games scheduled.
