Volleyball Game Preview: Second Baptist University-Model Eagle vs. Lifestyle Christian Victors

The Second Baptist University-Model Eagle will take on the Lifestyle Christian Victors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Second Baptist University-Model came up short against Founders Christian and fell 3-1.

While Second Baptist University-Model ultimately came up short, they really made Founders Christian work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 20-25, 25-13, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Second Baptist University-Model saw an underclassman step up: freshman Haley Koblenz had 16 digs and two aces. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Koblenz.

Meanwhile, Lifestyle Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Second Baptist University-Model back in September.

Lifestyle Christian was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring eight points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-8, 25-8.

Second Baptist University-Model's loss dropped their record down to 23-8-1. As for Lifestyle Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
