Basketball Game Preview: Dodson Coyotes vs. Harlem Wildcats

The Dodson Coyotes will venture away from home to square off against the Harlem Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dodson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.

Dodson is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale.

The losing side was boosted by Lance KillEagle, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Donovan Posey, who earned eight points.

Meanwhile, Harlem came up short against Malta on Friday, falling 80-56. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Harlem's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Dodson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Dodson took their victory against Harlem in their previous matchup on January 9th by a conclusive 74-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dodson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
