Volleyball Recap: South Bend Adams Comes Up Short

South Bend Adams extended their losing streak to seven on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They lost 3-0 to the Elkhart Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

As for Elkhart, they moved to 7-14 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 31st (when they won 3-0).

Elkhart was led to victory by Jaden Taylor and Maxwell Estes. Taylor had nine digs, while Estes had four digs and two aces. That's the most digs Estes has posted over his last four games.

South Bend Adams and Elkhart are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, the Eagles and Northridge will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhart, they will challenge Mishawaka Marian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
