Basketball Recap: Miami East Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greenon last Tuesday, Miami East came back down to earth. The Miami East Vikings took a 41-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethel Bees on Friday. The match was a 13-13 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Miami East's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Bethel, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Miami East won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lehman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bethel, they will take on Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
