Volleyball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

Centennial won the last time they faced Kellis and Kate Federico did her part to make sure it happened again. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars on Thursday with plenty of help from Federico, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Centennial's record now sits at 14-9. As for Kellis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Centennial is set to challenge their familiar foe Ironwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kellis will face off against rival Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
