Baseball Recap: Windham Bombers vs. Chalker Wildcats
Windham took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). Everything went their way against the Chalker Wildcats as the Windham Bombers made off with a 17-3 victory. That's more bragging rights for Windham, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
For Chalker's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vince DelVecchio, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Chalker's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
